CPHCL acquires Greenscapes to launch professional landscaping and garden centre operations
CPHCL Company Limited has acquired Greenscapes, a dedicated landscaping facility located within the limits of Attard, as part of its strategic plan to establish a fully-fledged professional landscaping company within the Group.
The newly acquired site, covering approximately 4,400 square metres, will serve as the operational hub for the Group’s landscaping activities and support the continued development of landscaping services both for Corinthia-related projects and third-party clients.

Established in 1966 as the original holding company of the Corinthia Group, CPHCL has built a diversified portfolio spanning the property, services, and hospitality sectors.
Jean-Pierre Schembri, CEO of CPHCL, said: “This investment reflects our commitment to diversification and excellence across our operations. Landscaping has always been central to the presentation of our properties, and establishing a centralised professional unit allows us to strengthen our capabilities while also delivering landscaping projects for third parties.”

As part of the next phase of development, the property will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment and rebranding process to align with the Group’s standards and the vision for the new Palace Garden Centre, which will offer a range of specialist garden equipment, plant and tree supplies, outdoor furniture, and related products.
Krystle Ellul, who has been appointed General Manager and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, said: “Our aim is to develop a facility that combines professional landscaping services with a high-quality garden centre, providing reliable and thoughtfully designed landscaping solutions for private and commercial clients.”
The site will also host the operations of Palace Landscaping, the Group’s landscaping services arm, which aims to further enhance the quality, efficiency, and consistency of landscape design and maintenance across CPHCL properties in Malta and internationally.
In addition to servicing Corinthia Group properties, Palace Landscaping will offer its expertise to third-party clients, providing landscape design, soft and hard landscaping, maintenance services, irrigation systems, and sustainable green solutions.
The acquisition forms part of CPHCL’s broader strategy to diversify its activities, consolidate key operational services, enhance standards, and create new business opportunities that complement its core hospitality and development portfolio.
