Helping others is not only a good thing to do, but it also makes us happier and healthier too. The management and employees at GasanMamo Insurance are constantly on the lookout to help those in need as the company believes that giving also connects us, creates a stronger community, and helps us to build a happier society for everyone.

During the latest festive season, Malta’s leading Insurance firm supported The Foodbank at Saint Andrew’s by donating food items. “Donating food items is a great way of helping the community and can make a huge difference to an individual or family. Unfortunately, there are families in Malta who struggle to put enough on the table and others who cannot always get the essentials that they need. Thanks to this initiative, particularly thanks to all our employees, we managed to give a supporting hand to those in need,” said Julian Mamo, Managing Director at GasanMamo Insurance.

Foodbank is a project that Rev. Kim Hurst had in mind when she came to Malta in 2014. With the help of the congregation, members of other churches and people who have a heart for helping others, Saint Andrew’s Scots Church was able to form this mission. The donated food is given out to people who are experiencing a crisis identified by care professionals. GasanMamo will continue to support the Community with this kind of initiative.
