Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur releases music video for new single

Red Electrick is not a new name to the local music scene whilst on the other hand their keyboardist’s name might be.

Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur is only 19 years old, but don’t let his age fool you as he might have more experience than a few local music veterans. Some might say he is a musical prodigy.

 He started learning to play the piano at the age of 10 and has not looked back once since his hands played the first note. Apart from being Red Electrick’s keyboard player, he has also worked with various local artists as a session musician through Railway Studios.

Aleandro just released his debut solo project. A beautiful instrumental piece ‘A song about loss’ which has a haunting sound of piano, strings and other atmospherics. No lyrics were needed as the music melody speaks for itself. 

The video is by Matthew Muscat Drago and footage was shot in New York, Washington, Philadelphia, Moscow, St Petersburg and Malta while on a filming trip. A different concept than the usual music videos but the scenes tell a story and the viewer gets to adapt the narrative to the emotions portrayed through the music.

We can expect a few more releases from the talented Aleandro in the coming months which will eventually be compiled in an album.
