Vodafone Malta Foundation supports L-Istrina 2014
The Vodafone Malta Foundation once again supported l-Istrina by donating €30,000 during the twelve-hour national fund-raising marathon at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta. Members of Vodafone staff were also on hand to participate directly in the effort by answering the donation telephone lines.
When presenting Vodafone’s donation, Foundation Board member Jason Pavia commented “As in previous years the Vodafone Malta Foundation is proud to be supporting l-Istrina. The Vodafone Malta Foundation believes very strongly in the importance of social solidarity within our community and today’s donation is a tangible way of supporting the Community Chest Fund in its aim of assisting individuals and organizations that may from time to time require particular help”.
