Singathon in aid of mental health

Dr Lydia Abela, the wife of Prime Minister Robert Abela, and Sarah Bajada, the partner of Opposition Leader Dr Alex Borg, are among the personalities who visited the singing marathon by Ozzy Lino, supported by Xjenza Malta, in aid of mental health and to promote greater awareness of mental well-being.

48 hours of hope, courage, and awareness for mental health.

One voice. One mission. A singing marathon by Ozzy Lino, accompanied by several other local artists.

The marathon was held at the Planetarium Hall at Esplora, in collaboration with Xjenza Malta.

Mental health has no age and no borders, but it does have one essential requirement — that all of us work together to achieve greater awareness in this field.

At the heart of this initiative are many children living with ADHD, OCD, and Autism, who need support — as do their families.

There are parents who need help, as well as workers and even older members of society.

This is why Ozzy Lino came up with this initiative: to help raise funds for three organisations — Caritas, the Richmond Foundation, and the Gozo Mental Health Association.

“This is a human act,” says Ozzy Lino. “It is not simply a concert, but a testament to the human spirit.”
