Nescafé Keeps the Wheels Turning with ‘Cycle-For-Life’ for LifeCycle Malta Foundation

In a warming show of energy, teamwork, and commitment to community well-being, Nescafé Malta has once again brought colleagues and friends together for the annual Cycle-For-Life event in aid of the LifeCycle Malta Foundation.

Held at ChicPhysique studio in Hilltop Gardens, Naxxar, the 2025 edition saw Nestlé Malta staff, their families, and members from Concept Stadium, Nestlé’s creative marketing agency, join forces for an intensive three-hour cycling session. The aim was to give participants a taste of the gruelling challenge that awaits the LifeCycle Malta team during their 10-day, 2,000-kilometre journey, while contributing collectively to the total kilometres cycled. In total, participants achieved an impressive 583 kilometres, which were mapped onto the official 2025 LifeCycle route.

Alan Curry, founder of the LifeCycle Malta Foundation, said: “The Cycle-For-Life event is not only a fun and energising way for the community to come together, but it also offers a small insight into the dedication and endurance required for the LifeCycle Challenge itself. Cycling 583 kilometres collectively in just three hours shows just how much can be achieved when people come together for a cause, and it truly motivates our participants as they prepare for the 2025 Challenge.”

Cycle-For-Life forms part of Nestlé Malta’s heritage brand Nescafé’s ongoing sponsorship and support of the LifeCycle Malta Foundation. The Foundation is currently preparing for the 2025 LifeCycle Challenge, which promises to be one of its most spectacular routes yet.

This year’s challenge will see a group of determined cyclists travel from the ancient Rose city of Petra in Jordan to the vibrant coastal city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia — a 2,000-kilometre journey across desert landscapes, rocky paths, and scenic coastlines. Departing Malta on 13 November and returning on 27 November 2025, participants will cycle through some of the Middle East’s most dramatic and historic terrains, from the depths of the desert to the shores of the Red Sea.

The LifeCycle Malta Foundation continues to raise awareness and funds to assist people suffering from end-stage renal disease, supporting treatment, specialised equipment, and kidney transplant needs. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has covered more than 53 countries and raised over €3 million through its annual challenges.
