Knorr treats kids to a mouthwatering meal
As part of Knorr’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, children at St Joseph’s Home, a facility which provides out-of-home care to boys, were treated to a mouthwatering lunch cooked by Knorr’s Brand Ambassador, Chef Sean Gravina. As a charity, the home depends on the generosity of the Maltese public to continue it’s mission; and such out-of-home activitation fitted the narrative perfectly.
“These boys get to face adult life too soon, but ultimately they are still growing up and need all the attention and care they deserve. We felt that we needed to help them out. Seeing the boys’ faces after being served some freshly prepared baguettes and a mouthwatering lasagne after coming back from school was simply priceless,” commented Chef Sean Gravina, who also chatted with the staff and children on how to eat a balanced diet and how to cater for these kids with affordable ingredients.
St Joseph’s Home is a facility which provides care to boys by supporting them through difficult times. The home provides individualised care to youngsters through the development of professional and effective relationships whilst assisting them in their every day needs, including their homework and studies as well as after school activities.
