Hospice Malta Presents Car Keys to Grand Prize Winner of Annual Lottery

Hospice Malta has officially presented the keys of the brand-new Ford Puma Gen-E to this year’s Grand Prize winner of the Annual Lottery, Maria Vassallo (Ticket Number 2510597). The car, sponsored by The Gasan Foundation, was handed over at GasanZammit Ltd showroom, bringing the yearly fundraising initiative to a close on a celebratory note.

This prize forms part of the organisation’s annual lottery, which continues to play an important role in supporting Hospice Malta’s mission to offer palliative care services free of charge to the community.
Hospice Malta extends its appreciation to all who participated this year, as well as to every organisation that contributed towards the prize line-up. Special thanks go to The Cruise & Travel Group, iCentre, M.A.A., The Westin Dragonara Resort, Sound Machine, and Form for their generous support.

Laura Gasan, from The Gasan Foundation, said: “We are proud to support Hospice Malta once again and to sponsor this year’s Grand Prize. It is inspiring to see the positive impact the lottery has on the community and to celebrate moments like today with the winner.”

Alexia Demicoli, Chief Relations Officer at Hospice Malta, added: “On behalf of Hospice Malta, I would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who took part in this year’s lottery, as well as to all our sponsors who contribute so generously year after year. Their support helps strengthen our work and ensures that patients and families continue receiving the care they need at no cost.”

As the year draws to a close, Hospice Malta also wishes to acknowledge the many benefactors, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who have contributed to their mission in different ways. Their commitment and generosity remain essential in enabling Hospice Malta to provide comprehensive palliative care to individuals living with cancer, motor neurone disease (including ALS), end-stage cardiac, respiratory, renal and liver conditions, multiple sclerosis, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and other serious illnesses.
