Hospice Malta has recently launched its yearly Sunflower Campaign fundraising initiative for 2023. The organization is making an earnest plea to the public to assist in raising funds for the NGO providing free of charge providing palliative care services.
 
In 2022, Hospice Malta supported over 1,300 patients and their loved ones, offering personalized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. This comprehensive approach involves continuous medical, psychological, social, and spiritual support from a team of multidisciplinary professionals.
 
Information leaflets about the campaign and how to contribute are being delivered to households throughout Malta and Gozo. The public is strongly encouraged to contribute and support in making a difference in the lives of numerous patients and their families. See below for details on various donation methods:

Contributions made to Hospice Malta will enable the organization to continue its vital work of aiding patients and their loved ones. This includes providing a variety of services such as Home Care, Day Therapy Services, HydroTherapy, Bereavement Support, Care Assistant Services, Loan of Specialised Equipment, After Hours On-Call services, and Patient Transport. Additionally, the donations will assist in the completion of the new Hospice complex – St. Michael Hospice, expected to open this year.
