Melita Limited is now recognised as a Certified Mental Heath First Aider Skilled Workplace and has been awarded the Gold Award by the Richmond Foundation. The certification was awarded for the work done by Melita to promote mental health awareness, including the provision of free access to the Richmond Foundation’s Health Minds Programme to all Melita employees.
Jaqueline Abela, Head of Human Resources at Melita Limited, said, “The Richmond Foundation’s Healthy Minds Programme provides support through qualified therapists, counsellors and psychologists to anyone who feels the need to reach out for help in a completely confidential manner. This service, which is available to all Melita employees, together with the Mental Health First Aider training which the Foundation has provided to our staff, is central to our ongoing efforts to ensure a healthy and inclusive environment in which everyone can develop. Having our efforts recognised by the Richmond Foundation inspires us to keep doing more.”
