Red Bull Full Moon – 3X3 Basket


The 3×3 Malta Basket Championship kicked off last week with the first ever edition of Red Bull Full Moon, the street sport series which is held every full moon on a Saturday night.
16 teams took the challenge for a night of basket in the parking area of the Basketball National Complex in Ta’ Qali which went on till 2AM.
69ers won the tournament after some impressive displays throughout the tournament. They won their three group stage matches and in the quarter final and semi final they cruised against Marsa Bad Boyx and Gladiators respectively. In the final they displayed another convincing game and won 20-9 against Marsa Warriors.
The strong Serbian team was composed by Aleksandar Novakovic, Aleksandar Perunicic, Milos Novakovic and Nenad Bukva.
