#OnTheMove Adult classes help exercisers kick their way to fitness

Countless medical and academic studies show that regular exercise is positively related to physical and mental wellbeing. This is even more evident and important for adults. All agree, however, that when it comes to exercise taking the first step is the hardest.

“Sticking to an exercise programme is crucial to one’s health and wellbeing.  For those who find exercising on one’s own a daunting task, group exercise classes are the best option. There, while enjoying oneself, one tend to forget that she or he are actually exercising and doing a lot of good to themselves. The benefits come as a nice surprise or even a bonus,” she added.

#OnTheMove – winter programme holds Adult Fitness classes at various Sports Complexes, including Cottonera, Marsa, Tal-Ħandaq, Tal-Qroqq, Pembroke and Kirkop. Training sessions are timed to coincide with children’s training session providing the perfect opportunity for parents and guardians to enrol in one of these fitness classes.
