Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, announced it is boosting its connectivity to the Indian Ocean by introducing a third daily flight to popular island destination, Mauritius. The additional evening frequency started on 1 October 2022 and will boost seat capacity to and from Mauritius by approximately 35%.
The new flight supplements the existing double-daily Airbus A380 services and will also offer customers travelling to Mauritius more flexibility. When planning their trip, passengers will have the choice of an early morning arrival at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, in addition to the existing EK 0701 service which arrives mid-morning, and EK 0703 that arrives early evening.
Whether seeking a romantic getaway, a memorable family trip or simply soaking up the sun, there is something for every traveller when visiting Indian Ocean island destinations.
Emirates has restarted operations to more than 130 destinations, across six continents and currently operates the Malta-Larnaca-Dubai route five times a week. The airliner also operates nine daily flights to the Seychelles, Mauritius and Maldives from Dubai International Airport.
