This Easter, Lidl Malta, a leading supermarket chain on the Maltese islands, built on the foundation of strong community values, extended the season’s joy beyond the supermarket aisles. The retail chain actively partnered with several local organisations, ensuring the spirit of Easter reached those who needed it most.

Lidl Malta’s dedication to the well-being of the community extends throughout the year. Being the main supporter of the Puttinu Cares annual Good Friday walk, the Company ensured goodies for the estimated 10,000 participants. The unwavering support for this important cause and Lidl Malta’s commitment to this NGO shines year after year.

The retail chain’s Easter efforts further solidified this dedication. Lidl Malta partnered up with the Malta Food Bank Foundation, providing €4,000 worth of vouchers to help families in need stock their pantries with essential food items. Additionally, the Company contributed alimentary goods and delicious chocolates to Hospice and Smiling with Jerome, ensuring patients and their families enjoyed a delightful Easter experience.

Understanding the importance of empowering local organisations, Lidl Malta also partnered with Inspire, a local NGO dedicated to supporting individuals with diverse abilities. For every Favorina 400g Easter Egg sold, the retail chain will donate €1 to Inspire, whilst also guaranteeing a minimum donation of €3,000.
