Task Master – HandsOn Systems’ new workforce management solution

Digital automation has arrived with Task Master, the new workforce management solution from HandsOn Systems. This cloud-based software program designed in-house by the Mosta-based technology company is ideal for any company or organisation with a workforce that delivers services outside its premises.
“Task Master can work best for companies that need to assign tasks to staff who operate outside their premises, including installers, maintenance people, technicians and delivery persons, to promote time and route efficiency, know when tasks assigned have begun and were completed, and to generate different reports on all this activity,” Roxana Badacian, Sales & Marketing Manager at HandsOn Systems said.


Tasks are created and assigned to employees, who automatically receive a notification on their mobile phones. The employee presses Start when they begin the task and Complete at the end (with the ability to pause tasks at any time). The employee can take photos within the app, add notes and accept client signatures.
The solution can be integrated with other systems with different APIs and, thanks to the app, the remote employee’s location is visible at all times. When creating a task and selecting a client,the address is added automatically. Therefore, through a single click, the remote employee can get directions to the destination, since the app is powered by Google Maps, which is ideal for foreign employees who may not be familiar with the roads.
Tasks can also be auto scheduled in the most efficient manner possible by team or geographic region so that you also save on fuel and time in traffic/transit. Another benefit of the solution is its ability to generate reports electronically, saving on paper. Reports can be according to workers, clients and types of tasks. You can set the technicians’ working hours and skill sets with the software not allowing you to schedule a task for a technician who is off or outside his/her working hours. The job report, including photos and the client’s signature, can be sent directly to the client.
All the relevant data is inputted once and even the scheduling of tasks to be performed can be dragged and dropped into the calendar in minimal time.
Task Master runs on PCs, laptops and tablets, and is customisable to the client’s specific needs.
