Josanne Cassar | GO appoints new CEO

GO has appointed Mr Attila Keszeg as Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from 1 June 2017.
Prior to his appointment with GO, Mr Keszeg held the position of Senior Vice President Commercial at Deutsche Telekom AG, with responsibility for the overall business to consumer activities in 12 countries. His previous appointment was that of Chief Commercial Officer Residential at Magyar Telekom plc where he was responsible for sales, customer care, marketing and product development. Between 2005 and 2010, Mr Keszeg acted as General Manager for Red Bull Hungary Limited with full responsibility for the local business. Prior to this appointment, he also held various positions with Pepsi-Cola Limited Hungary.
Mr Keszeg holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Financial and Management Studies from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
GO also announced that the Group’s Chief Finance Officer, Mr. Edmond Brincat, has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer for the period 31 March 2017 to 1 June 2017.
