Steward Malta re-emphasises commitment to orderly transition
Steward Health Care Malta (SHCM) has issued another statement to re-emphasise its commitment to the orderly transition of the hospitals to new management. It said it remains under a duty and owe to their patients to comply with the service concession agreement terms relating to an orderly handover, which they are adhering to. The health and wellbeing of patients remains their primary priority throughout this process.
Steward said it was disappointed at yet another misrepresentation by the Government of Malta of SHCM’s actions; this false representation of SHCM ‘abandoning’ the hospitals simply acts as yet another warning of the Government’s unreliability as a partner to other foreign companies considering investing in Malta.
Meanwhile Steward Health Care Malta has published a microsite which contains significant amount of information relating to the hospitals concession’s finances and administration.
