Launch of Incentives for Bicycles and Bicycle-related facilities by Transport Malta

Transport Malta, in collaboration with the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure, and Public Works,
announces the launch of a new financial incentive for the purchase of bicycles, conversion of bicycles to
pedelecs, and installation of bicycle racks, bicycle repair stations and related facilities, in addition to the
grant schemes launched earlier in the year.

Sixty (60) Bank of Valletta ATMs across Malta and Gozo are now accepting contactless transactions. This means that cardholders can now just tap their card or their mobile device against the contactless symbol on the machine to carry out their transaction. With this latest innovation, all ATM services are available via contactless for physical cards, with instant cash withdrawals currently available for mobile devices. All the other functionalities, including deposits, will soon be enabled for mobile devices.
