Kenneth B. Micallef reconfirmed as President

Following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and first Committee meeting of the Institute of Financial Services Malta (ifs Malta), the new committee was elected and Kenneth B. Micallef was reconfirmed as President for the seventh consecutive year. The Committee also welcomed a new member, Mr Dunston Pisani.

The ifs Malta Committee for 2021-2022 is composed as follows: President: Kenneth B. Micallef; Vice-Presidents: Peter Calleya and Mark Agius; Honorary Secretary: Joseph Bugelli; Honorary Treasurer: Bonamy Mercieca; Members: Joseph Agius; Jean Paul Attard; Karl Dingli; Paul Farrugia; Adrian Mallia; Dunston Pisani; Lisa Vella; and Wendy Zammit.

With ongoing restriction due to COVID-19, ifs Malta is still conducting all meetings online.

President Micallef said, “I thank everyone for re-electing me to serve as President. The past year has been challenging, however, thanks to hard work of the Committee members and the Institute’s Head of School and administrative staff, we had a successful year. I also thank Kenneth Genovese and Christian Farrugia for their services. Even though they did not seek re-election, they will continue to support the Institute. ifs Malta is continually adapting to the changing environment and is embarking on a new strategic plan to ensure its relevance and future sustainability. This is befitting, as ifs will be celebrating its 60th anniversary.”

Ifs Malta is Malta’s leading financial services education provider with a professional heritage of sixty years and is licensed Malta Further and Higher Education Authority.
