Everyone’s a winner at annual HSBC Triathlon
More than 50 HSBC employees swam, cycled, ran and walked their way from Gozo to Dar Merhba Bik in Balzan today. The annual triathlon is organised by the bank’s Sports and Social Committee, in conjunction with the HSBC Malta Foundation, and this year, raised funds exclusively for Dar Merhba Bik – a shelter home for women.
The participants kicked off from Ta’ Kerċem for a 10km run to Mġarr, with some opting for a shorter 5km trail from Xewkija. The run was followed by a 5km swim in Mellieħa, from where a 50km bike ride brought the participants to Balzan, to end the event with a final walk and a kid’s bike ride.
