Eight Maltese companies will be uniting for this year’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, held annually on 19 March, the feast of St. Joseph, for a day of voluntary work in aid of the community.

“As responsible companies, we look forward to CSR Day as a special opportunity to cooperate in support of the community,” said HSBC’s Doriette Camilleri, on behalf of the CSR Day Organising Committee, formed of representatives from participating companies. “By working with caring organisations, such as residential homes, we provide tangible support with the aim of improving the residents’ quality of life.”

Residential homes and caring institutions that will benefit from voluntary work during CSR day 2013 include: Dar Merhba Bik, Fra Diegu Home, Dar il-Wens, Dar Qalb ta’ Gesu’, St. Jeanne Antide Foundation, and Caritas Therapeutic Centre in San Blas.
