MTA takes Wedding Day magazine to Dublin wedding fair!

Thanks to collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, Wedding Day magazine will be distributed at an upcoming wedding fair, The Wedding Journal Show, in Dublin, where it will be available from the MTA stand.

We all dream of a perfect wedding in a place that’s beautiful and appealing – but also affordable and exotic. Glistening sun, crystal waters and deluxe resorts make Malta an alluring wedding and honeymoon destination. The beautiful Maltese islands are just a three and a half hour flight from Belfast or Dublin and just under three hours from any London airport.

Malta is situated in the centre of the Mediterranean, 62 miles south of Sicily.

The Maltese archipelago, consisting of Malta, Gozo and Comino, is one of Europe’€™s best kept secrets. Whether you choose to explore the depths of Malta’€™s history & culture or immerse yourself in its beautiful natural landscape, you will discover an exciting and affordable oasis in the heart of the Mediterranean. Malta fulfils the standard of an enthralling wedding and honeymoon gateway!

The dream location for your wedding and honeymoon should be as beautiful, memorable and as luxurious as your budget will allow.

In Maltese culture, marriages are lavish affairs but whether you’re planning a laidback reception for close friends and family or a spectacular affair for a much larger number, any wedding held in Malta will be one to remember.  From church weddings to civil ceremonies, it has a vast array of wedding services to fit all budgets and offers great value for money, making a Maltese destination wedding available to everyone.

There is a wide array of venues to choose from for your special day, ranging from Castles, palazzos and an incredible range of hotels to personalise your dream wedding. Wedding planners guarantee you a stress-free time while arrangements are made for your transportation, wedding, hen party or honeymoon.

From sight-seeing atValletta’s Grand Harbour to chartering a yacht for the day, there’s a world of choice when it comes to celebrating beside the shimmeringMediterranean. Take a trip on the crystal-clear turquoise waters to one of the many secluded lagoons, or simply enjoy an intimate dinner in one of Malta’€™s award winning seafront restaurants with your loved one.

Malta’s sister island of Gozo is ideal for discerning couples.  There’s so much to enjoy and discover. Dotted with sleepy traditional villages, long winding walks, secluded lagoons or caves, and beautiful authentic farmhouses, Gozo is a world away from everyday hustle and bustle. The island is ideal for water sports – diving, sailing and snorkelling – as well as for simply taking it easy and soaking up the year-round Mediterranean sunshine.

Although Malta is renowned for its relaxing ambiance, there are still plenty of places to dance the night away with a large choice of venues situated in Valletta, Paceville, and Bugibba. Not to mention a number of open air clubs which are particularly popular on Friday and Saturday nights.

For those who like to be pampered, the Maltese islands are a haven for spa and wellness enthusiasts.

Finally couples honeymooning in Malta will be able to experience romantic escape like no other. With hotels providing special honeymoon suites with stunning views as well as other couple-focused amenities to make you feel like royalty!

Convinced? So what are you waiting for? The Maltese islands look forward to welcoming you very soon!
