All classes of the Boeing aircraft are equipped with Emirates’ award-winning ice inflight system with hundreds of channels of award-winning entertainment to choose from and can keep travellers busy during the flight. In addition to the entertainment, Emirates’ multilingual cabin crew will provide the highest levels of service and care throughout the flight, along with gourmet cuisine in all classes, for which Emirates has just been awarded ‘Best Airline Food and Wine’ by the readers of Frequent Business Traveler. Emirates also provides a baggage allowance of an extra 10 kg to all passengers.

First and Business Class clients enjoy Emirates’ chauffeur-drive transfers from Malta and Gozo to Malta  International Airport, as well as on arrival in Cyprus. Other special privileges for premium travellers include dedicated check-in areas and the use of La Valette Lounge at Malta International Airport and on their return at Larnaka Airport.

Cyprus is surrounded by clear, turquoise waters, with many sandy beaches and an interior covered with vivid green pine trees. It is an island steeped in history and complemented by so much natural beauty.

On arrival in Larnaka on Emirates, one can easily relax at any of the city’s three sandy beaches or enjoy some of the island’s best bars and busiest nightlife. Another tourist attraction, famous for its beaches, water sports and nightlife hotspots is Agia Napa. For a quieter combination of sea and mountains, visitors should try Paphos – the birthplace of Aphrodite.

The best way to explore Cyprus is by hiring a car.  The Cypriots drive on the same left hand side as in Malta and the roads are very well signposted in English. This makes Cyprus an ideal destination for Maltese holidaymakers considering a driving holiday for the first time.

Emirates flight EK108 leaves Malta at 15.45hrs and arrives in Larnaka at 19.00hrs (Cyprus time), allowing travellers enough time to enjoy the evening at the local cafes and tavernas.
