Watch the FIFA World Cup at Bay Street
With less than two weeks to go before the kick-off of the biggest sporting event of the year, the World Cup, that will be held in the country where football is the second religion, Brazil, from 12 June to 13 July, 2014.
All the bars, cafés and restaurants at Bay Street have either a host of large TV screens or even big screens to follow all the action. These include Kebab Express, Café Pascucci, Mangano Fashion Café, McDonalds, Fluid, Hard Rock Café, The Italian Job and Zashas.
There is also a Shop and Win competition in June, with the prize being a children’s soccer table, sponsored by Juniors Fun & Learn Centre. Entrants for the competition will be asked to complete a voucher and post it in the competition box on Level 0.
In addition, the popular Zorb Balls water attraction, now with a football theme, is back on the Green on Level 0. This is a unique experience that, once tried, will certainly attract people once more. This will be open until the end of September from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
