IĠM at National Book Festival

The Institute of Maltese Journalists (IĠM) is present at the National Book Festival 2013 primarily with two books: When Judges Dissent – Separate Opinions of Judge Giovanni Bonello at the European Court of Human Rights and Il-Gross – Il-kontribut letterarju, collected by Chief Justice Emeritus Giuseppe Mifsud Bonnici and his brother Presidenti Emeritus Ugo Mifsud Bonnici.

Chief Justice Emeritus Mifsud Bonnici and President Emeritus Mifsud Bonnici will attend the book festival on Sunday, 17 November, 2013, at 10.30 a.m. to sign copies of the book, which is being sold at a a special price.

This impressive book, published by the Tumas Fenech Foundation for Education in Journalism, brings together the literary output of their father, Dr Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici, known as Il-Gross: poetry in Italian and Maltese, conferences, discussions and other literary work, apart from a number of articles published in the Malta Chronicle.

When Judges Dissent includes no fewer than 53 separate opinions of Judge Bonello in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The book has a Foreword by President Emeritus Guide de Marco
