A newly set up English language school, Ace English Malta has been opened  at Bay Street following a €1.5 million investment.

Education Minister Evarist Bartolo stressed the government’s commitment to change the visa regime by the end of the year to facilitate visits by non-EU students to come to Malta for educational reasons. “We want to match the visa regime of our competitors at the very least,” he said. Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella was also in attendance.

Situated on Level 4, where it has its own separate entrance off the large terrace, Ace English Malta is a small, private language school that aims to bring a new freshness and enthusiasm to language learning in Malta.

Spread over 1,100 m2 on two floors, it includes a reception area, double height foyer, Internet café, chill out areas and 26 classrooms – all equipped with the latest interactive whiteboard technology, enabling Ace English Malta to offer a highly personalised service in a boutique learning environment.

The school is run by a dedicated, qualified group of professionals with over 20 years experience in various aspects of managing language school operations.

According to Keith Zammit, owner and Director: “We place particular value on the human connection between teacher and student, as well as technological learning systems so popular today. From the first day of class only English is used in our animated and enjoyable interactive sessions that nonetheless require the student to work hard by being involved through direct participation in the lessons.”

The school boasts a comprehensive list of courses for adults and juniors, who are promised a fun learning experience with a packed programme of extra-curricular activities. There are also personalised course, general business language training, effective communication for professionals and afternoon conversation classes.

Speaking at the opening Mr Zammit said ACE English Malta is one of the most avante-garde language schools in Malta and beyond that is intent on growing in the years to come. “With ACE English Malta we bring you a trendy, modern, chic boutique language school that is second to none, a new breed of dynamic institution focused on offering specialised courses to meet the demands of students in the 21st century.”
