Hospice Malta Runners Take on Malta Marathon to Raise Vital Funds
Hospice Malta announces that a dedicated team of runners, including Keith Demicoli, Suzanne and Joseph Gauci, Mark Piscopo, Matthew Saliba, and Joseph Zammit, will participate in the upcoming Malta Marathon to support the vital services provided by the NGO. Mark Piscopo and Davide Patorniti will challenge themselves with the full 42K marathon, while the others will take on the 21K half marathon.
Alexia Demicoli, Chief Relations Officer of Hospice Malta, expressed appreciation for the runners, stating: “Hospice Malta is incredibly thankful to all the runners who have chosen to take on the Malta Marathon in support of the organisation. Their dedication not only helps raise vital funds but also increases awareness of the services provided. With the number of Hospice referrals on the rise, initiatives like these have a direct impact on patients and their families, ensuring they receive the medical, practical, emotional and psychological, social and spiritual support needed during such a challenging time.”
“The public is encouraged to support these runners in their fundraising efforts, as every contribution makes a real difference in the lives of those who rely on these services, all of which are provided free of charge,” she concluded.
Hospice Malta invites anyone who wishes to support the cause to consider raising funds for the organisation. Those interested can contact Hospice Malta directly at info@hospicemalta.org to learn how they can contribute.
