The Dizz Academy launched
Bring new employees onboard to the various divisions of the Dizz Group, along with training of former employees who have re-joined the Group (returners) has been rationalised into a holistic programme being offered by in-house trainers at the newly launched The Dizz Academy.
The onboarding programme was developed in conjunction with KPMG, which shared its research on how to enable the trainers to focus on customer centricity and to enable this to be aligned with the Dizz Group’s culture and values.
The Dizz Group took the opportunity presented by the pandemic to team up with KPMG to develop and implement this learning solution to target improved employee engagement, driving customer excellence.
HR Manager Roderick Esposito said representatives from the HR department, Operations, Retail, Food Operations and Brand Managers attended a three-day programme with the focus of each day being:
delivering a consistent onboarding message to new joiners;
bringing returnees up to speed with the Dizz Group’s culture, values and latest developments; and
specific training for managers and potential managers.
The HR department has created a presentation giving a general introduction to the Group with the various departmental heads then delivering training to the new joiners and returnees on their roles.
In a statement to the Malta Stock Exchange the Dizz Group said it eagerly looks forward to reaping the benefits of a highly engaged and motivated workforce that will continue to deliver an improved, excellent retail experience, resulting in a higher client return ratio, thereby strengthening the Group’s financial performance.
