MCST launches another 2 Horizon Europe Support Schemes for 2023
The Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) has launched another two Horizon Europe Support Schemes for 2023 – PF2MT and ERC Support Scheme.
MCST is managing a number of Horizon Support Schemes aimed at enhancing and supporting Maltese entities in participating in the Horizon Europe programme, the European Union’s main funding instrument for research and innovation.
The European Research Council Support Scheme (ERC Support Scheme) aims to strengthen the opportunities for talented researchers to obtain grants from the European Research Council (ERC) for excellent and ground-breaking research based on researchers’ own ideas within all areas of research. The Scheme provides applicants with mentoring and proposal writing training opportunities and will remain open until 15th September 2023.
The Postdoctoral Fellowship Training Scheme for Incoming Postdocs to Malta (PF2MT) supports travel and accommodation expenses for experienced researchers willing to submit a proposal with a Maltese host entity (beneficiary) for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship call. The support in the form of a lump sum grant is for the participation of the researchers in the one-day MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship training held in July in Malta.
MCST will hold a dedicated online info session on 9th March at 11am to provide further information about the above-mentioned Support Schemes as well as the other available Horizon Support Schemes, namely NET2HE, EIC Support Scheme and IPAS+.
