MATTHEW JAMES BRINGS BACK HIS SIGNATURE ACOUSTIC SOUND WITH ‘ROAD TRIP’
One of Malta’s fronting songwriters and performers, Matthew James’ voice is mostly recognised on Maltese classic pop songs such as Young Again and Paul.
Entering 2020 with a brand new song from his solo project, Matthew’s latest release Road Trip brings back his signature acoustic sound we’re now so familiar with. It’s a song about those people who fill our lives with light and happiness, amidst the sometimes dark nature of life. Directed, filmed and edited by Matthew James, the music video features frame – by – frame illustrated animations by local visual artist Simon Callus and a nostalgic dance performance choreographed by Warren Bonello.
“This song goes out to all those kind souls who want to make the world a better place with their giving and kindness. I am grateful for having found some of these persons when I needed them most.” Matt opens up.
Road Trip is the first from a series of releases by Matt, planned for 2020. He continues, “2019 was incredible because I got to produce so many different artists, from film scoring to SterjoTipi to X Factor Malta contestants. Now I’m looking forward to focusing on my material during 2020! And I can’t wait to share it!”
