Malta Public Transport announces special bus services for Gozo Nadur Carnival 2023

Malta Public Transport will be operating special bus services for the upcoming Nadur Carnival 2023 in Gozo, taking place between 17 – 19 February 2023.

On Friday 17th February 2023, a Direct Bus Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 30 minutes between 20:00hrs and 00:00hrs. In addition, a shuttle service will operate from Mgarr Ferry to Nadur with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) happening between 19:00hrs to 00:00hrs. Special Services will operate at 01:00hrs (Saturday early morning) from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

On Saturday 18th February 2023, a Direct Bus Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 15 minutes between 20:00hrs and 00:00hrs. The shuttle service from Mgarr Ferry to Nadur will also operate with each scheduled ferry (including extra ferry trips) between 19:00hrs to 00:00hrs. Special services will operate at 01:00hrs and 02:30hrs (Sunday early morning) from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

On Sunday 19th February 2023, a Direct Bus Service will operate from Victoria to Nadur every 15 minutes between 20:00hrs and 23:00hrs. Special service will operate at 23:00hrs from Nadur to Xaghra, Xewkija, Victoria, Ghajnsielem, Qala, and other localities.

For the night service from Cirkewwa Terminus on Saturday 18th February 2023, a special service will be provided with the arrival of Gozo Ferry from 23:00hrs to 03:30hrs (Sunday early morning). The special service will be provided to Mellieha, Xemxija, St.Paul’s Bay, Bugibba, and other localities.

On Carnival Sunday, 19th February 2023, bus routes will operate the normal Sunday routes across Malta. However, because of the high demand, the frequency of the following bus routes will increase from noon onwards: Route 31, 46, 48, 49, 71, 82, 84, 91, 61, and 62.
