Launch of Project Co-operating for Leadership in Tourism
On the 19th of February 2016, at 8:30am, the Project Co-operating for Leadership in Tourism will be officially launched at the Europa House, Valletta. Co-Lead is a European framework project aiming to develop and test capacity building trainings and tools to train team of professionals and trainers with appropriate skills and expertise who can directly assist destinations and enterprises to support their strategies, plans and actions for their sustainable tourism growth.
Co-Lead counts on the participation of organizations from Malta, United Kingdom and Bulgaria dealing with sustainable tourism; management of tourism destinations, heritage sites, events, and the PM4SD qualification has been designed to plan and implement tourism projects with sustainability.
In this event, the following items will be covered by Project Partners:
• General overview of the Co-Lead Project
• Project Management for Sustainable Tourism
• Cooperation opportunities within the CO-Lead project
The Co-Lead Project is co-funded by the European Commission through ERASMUS+, EU programme for education, training, youth and sport for 2014-2020.
