HSBC Bank Malta and GWU sign collective agreement

HSBC Bank Malta and the General Workers Union (GWU) have entered into a collective agreement for the period 2014-2018. The agreement was signed by both organisations in the presence of staff members at the Main Workshop, HSBC Operations Centres, Qormi.
The agreement covers the non-clerical categories and stipulates wage increases over the term of the deal as well as other financial and non-financial benefits. Officials from HSBC and GWU expressed their satisfaction on signing the new agreement.
The agreement was signed, by HSBC CEO Andrew Beane and the Head of HR Mandy Garner, while, GWU Secretary General for Professionals, Finance and Services Section Charles Galea and Member Anthony Facciol represented GWU.
