Honda HR-V Hybrid: New Gen launched with new look and many advanced features

The new Honda HR-V is more stylish and more desirable than ever before. The Japanese automotive manufacturer Honda Motor Company recently revealed the second generation of its subcompact crossover SUV HR-V. The new model is already in Malta, sporting a clean, sporty and expressive exterior design, featuring a bold new grille, longer hood and sleek roofline.
The newest iteration of the HR-V has been industrialized entirely from scratch and looks nothing like the previous version. The model is based on the underpinnings of the latest generation of its sibling – the Honda Civic and features a ton of similar design cues from the sedan. In terms of dimensions, the new model is a lot larger than its predecessor and comes with a longer wheelbase and wider stance. Honda has given the new HR-V, an adventure-ready styling with a low horizontal beltline that begins with its extended hood and continues over the swell of the rear fenders.
The new Honda HR-V is considered to be an attractive small SUV that’s easy to drive and cheap to run. It’s a ‘self-charging’ hybrid, and it automatically switches between drive modes depending on the situation, allowing you to set off under electric power with the petrol engine on hand when you need a little more push. The result is impressive fuel economy, with the Honda HR-V returning up to 52.3mpg in official WLTP tests.
The HR-V’s interior embodies a huge enhancement over its predecessor. Not only does it look modern, but also there are plenty of soft-touch materials. The spacious interior of the new HR-V is the perfect example of how a crossover should be. With ample room for your five passengers and a variety of high tech features, the cabin is impressive to say the least.
The new HR-V has an overhauled nose. Starting from the bottom, there is a wide lower fascia with mesh in the centre and vertical air inlets in the corners. The grille is far more angular than the previous-gen vehicle. There’s a hexagonal pattern in the middle.
All new Honda HR-V has been equipped with various other high standard safety features, such as Honda LaneWatchTM, 4 Airbags, G-CON + ACETM frame structure with Side Impact Beam, ABS + EBD + BA braking technology, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Vehicle Stability Assist, Electric Parking Brake, Auto Brake Hold, and Emergency Stop Signal, as well as Seatbelt Reminder for each row of seats.

The all New Honda HR-V is also equipped with advanced features such as Remote Engine Start, Walk-Away Auto Lock, Smart Entry System and Auto Foldable Door Mirror with LED Turning Signal.
This new model has been cited for its design in the Product Category at the Red Dot Design Award. The all-new HR-V was recognized for its “experienced-based value for customers who enjoy active lifestyles and are open to new things.” The compact crossover continues to adopt a center-tank layout based on Honda’s Man-Maximum, Machine-Minimum concept. This has resulted in a cabin bigger than the average cabin space of those in its class. The Red Dot Design Awards also noted the HR-V’s occupant comfort and versatile seat arrangements as well.
No doubt the new Honda HR-V is an affordable midsize SUV with many convenient features and standard equipment. This sport utility vehicle has a powerful engine and great fuel efficiency, making it an efficient ride. This SUV is easy to drive and handle, as well as practical and spacious. It has everything you need for a successful road trip with your friends and family. Get in touch with GasanZammit and book your test-drive now.
