
The Svhoong App is a hit with 2015 Vodafone Malta MARATHON participants
More than half of the 4000 Vodafone marathon participants made use of the Svhoong App powered by Vodafone Malta’s 4G Network.
With the Shvoong App, and thanks to the quality and speed of Vodafone’s 4G network, photos of the runners at all the strategic points along the Marathon route were uploaded to the individual’s Facebook.
“With over 4,960,000 impressions on the Vodafone Malta’s Facebook page, more than what the Tel Aviv Marathon gets with more than 20,000 participants, we are pleased to see just how much the App was use,” said Tara- Lynn Zammit, Vodafone Brand Executive. “We feel that it really did contribute to the event particularly by allowing the participants’ families and friends to follow their progress, and equally I think that runners appreciate the photos as a meaningful visual record of their efforts on the day.”
The Malta Marathon organisers and Vodafone Malta would like to take the opportunity to thank all those involved, including all the participants as well as the official partners: San Michel, Powerade, Urban Jungle and fitness.
Once again the Vodafone Malta Marathon has marked a successful annual event in the local sports calendar.
