Sassoli: Slovenian Presidency has the responsibility to defend the rule of law and common European values
Statement by the European Parliament President David Sassoli
“The Slovenian Presidency has a great responsibility: to defend European values and the rule of law. Slovenian citizens are well aware of the value of Europe and of freedom. Appointing Slovenian delegated prosecutors to the anti-fraud European Public Prosecutor Office is a way to guarantee transparency and protect legal rights for our citizens. We expect a fast response.”
