The International Christmas Fair is back
Save the date for probably the best International Christmas Fair on the island! Entry is free. Organised by the AIWM (Association of International Women in Malta), on Sunday 13 November, 10am – 5pm, at the InterContinental Malta. All proceeds go to SOAR Service, St Jeanne Antide Foundation and FIDEM Charity Foundation.
Over 50 stalls will be selling everything from creative edibles to original artisanal gifts to wooden toys to paint on the spot or to take away.
Live entertainment will include singer Thijs de Bree from Holland, including show tunes and Christmas songs, Greek dancers from the Hellenic Society of Malta who at the last Fair delighted visitors by dancing with them – and of course Father Christmas himself. A festive menu is being provided by the InterContinental, alongside a tranquil sitting area where visitors can take a breather – from the stalls or each other!
This fair is different from any other in that it includes games like guess the number of corks in the bottle, guess the weight of the cake, and 2 instant win tables: bottles and health and beauty. Members have also created a bake sale, bring and buy table, an international table featuring items representative of countries visited… and much more!
