SCAR was one of the biggest local bands in the 00’s and inspired many youngsters that are today locally renowned musicians and artists. They shared the stage with international acts such as Akon and Faithless, performed on stages beyond our shores, were one of the few bands that participated in the Malta Eurovision Song Contests and released 2 studio albums; the self-titled album ‘Scar’ followed by ‘Breaking Radio Silence’. Hits like ‘Red Carpet’, ‘Fences’, ‘Cambodia’ and ‘White Lie’ were released off these albums. The boys were also signed with Cargo Records Germany and endorsed by PRS Guitars USA.
With 2 albums to their name and a short break later, they made their way back to our airwaves and streaming playlists with ‘by the way’ and ‘Never Enough’. Both tracks were well received by both the listeners who have been followers since the early days and the new generation of music lovers.
Their distinctive sound along with catchy hooks and melodic tones have remained current and relative throughout the years across different generations. This year SCAR are celebrating their 20th anniversary and what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a new track?
‘Everlast’ has been released today on radio airwaves along with a music video produced and directed by Karolis Vitonis and features dancers from Dope Music Academy.
Song was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by David Vella at Temple Studios
