Malta Hospice Movement to hold Biennial Conference on Palliative Care

As part of its Educational Program for 2022, Hospice Malta, through its Education Committee, will be holding a Biennial Palliative Care Conference on Wednesday, April 20th.  The conference will be covering an array of topics on Palliative Care including areas related to the physical and psycho-social aspects as well as different medical conditions and Palliative Care strategy. It will be led by a distinguished panel of local and foreign experts on the subject.

‘Hospice Malta remains at the forefront in Palliative Care Education and is committed to create educational and networking opportunities amongst professionals with the ultimate aim to reach patients and their families and provide the necessary palliative care services at the time of need. The Hospice Conference is an excellent avenue for this enabling different professionals to share experiences, knowledge and tackle the different aspects of the subject in question’, said Mr. Kenneth Delia, Hospice Malta CEO. ‘Our objective is to ensure that people living with life limiting conditions, as well as their families are supported by a dedicated professional interdisciplinary team utilising the latest literature, research and evidence-based practice.   
The Conference will be held at The Dolmen Hotel, Bugibba. Participation fee including lunch is of €60.
Early registration is encouraged due to the limited seating available, as per current Public Health protocol.
