HSBC Malta sponsors print category of the Malta Journalism Awards
HSBC Bank Malta is sponsoring the print journalism – news category of the 26th edition of the Malta Journalism Awards, which pay homage to Maltese journalists’ contribution to society. The print journalism category is hailed as the premier category of the Awards.
The Malta Journalism Awards are organised by the Institute of Maltese Journalists (IĠM), whose year-round work culminates in recognising 16 recipients from four areas of journalism: print, broadcast, e-journalism and general categories.
“For more than a quarter of a century, the IĠM awards have celebrated the transformative power of journalism in shaping Maltese society,” said HSBC Malta’s Head of Communications Franco Aloisio, who presented the Bank’s sponsorship to the Institute.
The Malta Journalism Awards presentation ceremony will be held on Saturday 7th May 2016 at The Palace, Sliema.
