Four foreign speakers to address ADHD Conference 2018

ADHD-Europe and ADHD-Malta are holding their ADHD Conference 2018 on Saturday 24 February from 2-6 p.m. in the Babylon Suite of the Cavalieri Art Hotel, St Julian’s.
Four International speakers will lecture on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD):
Prof. Susan J. Young, B.Sc. (Hons), D.Clin.Psy., Ph.D., CSi, AFBPS
(www.psychology-services.uk.com) is a clinical and forensic psychologist, and a practising neuropsychologist. She has worked for over 20 years in clinical academia, including prestigious employment at the Imperial College, London. She will speak on ‘Consequences of untreated ADHD’.
Prof. Philip Asherson, MB, BS, M.R.C.Psych., Ph.D. is Professor of Molecular Psychiatry at the MRC Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Research Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London, in the United Kingdom. He will speak on ‘Mind wandering: a new perspective on attentional problems in ADHD’.
Dr J.J. Sandra Kooij is an adult psychiatrist who has specialised in ADHD in adults for over 20 years. She works as an associate professor of psychiatry at the Free University in Amsterdam and is head of the Dutch Expertise Centre Adult ADHD at PsyQ, psycho-medical programmes in The Hague, the Netherlands. She will speak on ‘Is ADHD a circadian rhythm disorder? About ADHD, late sleep, mood and health’.
Jerry Mills from the United States will deliver a dynamic presentation with a mixture of research, media, heartfelt stories and original music. This is intended to inspire those present to look deeper, discover new awareness and rethink what they see when faced with the challenges of ADHD. The theme of the presentation is ‘ADHD: The Heart of the Matter’.
