Transport Malta clarifies misleading statements regarding ‘Y’ Plates (LPTS) Operators
Transport Malta firmly refutes the recent statements made by Hon Mark Anthony Sammut concerning
the renewal process for small operators of ‘Y’ plates (LPTS).
The claims suggesting that these operators are being denied permit renewals are completely
unfounded. The Authority clarifies that every operator who has submitted the necessary
documentation and met all the legal requirements has had their operator’s license renewed without
any hindrance.
Transport Malta continues to uphold transparency and fairness in all its processes. The Authority
works diligently to ensure that all legal and regulatory standards are strictly adhered to, providing
equitable support to all compliant service providers.
