Malta and Israel BNI chapters hold first joint meeting on Thursday

Some 40 Maltese entrepreneurs will be exploring possible business opportunities with operators in the Israeli market through the international reach of BNI (www.bni.com), the world largest business referral organisation.  Malta BNI is inviting also non-members to join the online meeting being held via zoom on Thursday13th May at 4pm.

There are more than 600 members in 17 chapters within BNI Israel. The country has the second highest number of start-up companies in the world after the US and its major economic sectors are technology and industrial manufacturing. With almost the whole Israeli population being vaccinated against Covid-19, Israel’s economy is back onto the growth path and almost back to normal business.

Malta BNI national director David Bullock said: “During 2020, Malta BNI has embarked on a dynamic programme to explore and create meaningful commercial relationships with various businesses abroad. Through our internationalisation programme, we have established business contacts with companies in Italy, France, Denmark, Cyprus, and as far away as the US, India and Malaysia, and now we are seeking possible business opportunities with Israel.”

“While in pre-Covid times, a company had to allocate a significant amount of time and money to invest in business development, especially overseas, in recent months Malta BNI, through a worldwide network of more than 10,000 chapters, has been offering such contacts on a golden platter and free of charge. We are firm believers in the concept of Givers’ Gain. This is why in 35 years; the BNI network grew from just ten businessmen to more than 220,000 members across the globe,” added Mr Bullock.

Conducted in English, Thursday’s meeting will run from 4pm till 5.30pm. This business encounter will be dedicated to presentations of the activities of companies in both Malta and Israel.

Non-BNI businesses from Malta, including Israeli-owned companies operating locally, are being invited to join this virtual joint chapter meeting so that they too can experience some of the great potential that BNI’s international dimension can offer, especially in these challenging times.

Visitors will have the opportunity to present themselves, their products or services, their needs and markets of interest. Members and visitors alike attending this virtual meeting can also make a sales pitch introducing their respective services or products.
