Hospice Malta Launches Annual Lottery thanks to the Gasan Foundation and GasanZammit Ltd

Hospice Malta is once again organising its Annual Lottery, giving the public the chance to win fantastic prizes while helping the organisation continue its mission to provide free palliative care to patients and their families.

This year’s Grand Prize is a brand-new Ford Puma Gen-E, generously sponsored by The Gasan Foundation, and supported by GasanZammit Motors Limited.

Sarah Carbonaro, Secretary at The Gasan Foundation, said: “Hospice Malta does incredible work for our community, and we’re honoured to support them once again. By donating this brand-new car to their Annual Lottery, we hope it inspires many to take part and help make a meaningful difference.”
Other prizes include a €2,500 cruise voucher from The Cruise & Travel Group, an iPhone 17 from iCentre, a Daikin 12,000 BTU Air Conditioner from M.A.A., a 2-night stay for two, including breakfast at The Westin Dragonara, a 7kg Washing Machine from Sound Machine, and two Emma Mattress Collection Premium Memory Pillows from Form.

Alexia Demicoli, Hospice Malta’s Chief Relations Officer, said: “Our Annual Lottery is one of the simplest yet most meaningful ways the community can support Hospice Malta’s work. Every ticket sold contributes directly towards sustaining our mission and helping patients and their families receive the care they need. We are deeply grateful to The Gasan Foundation and GasanZammit Motors Limited for their continued support over the years, which reflects the strong sense of community that enables Hospice Malta to keep offering its services free of charge.”

The lottery draw will take place on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at 11:00 am and will be transmitted live on Hospice Malta’s Facebook page, so everyone can tune in as the winners are announced.
Tickets are available against a donation of €1 per ticket or 28 tickets for €25. Each ticket purchased helps Hospice Malta continue providing care from St Michael Hospice in St Venera, Malta’s first palliative care complex.

Ticket stubs need to be filled in and returned by post to reach Hospice Malta by Monday, 1 December 2025 at 9:00 am to be entered into the draw. Buyers are kindly asked to retain their ticket for reference. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting https://hospicemalta.org/product/lottery-2025/.

With the community’s continued support, Hospice Malta can carry on offering its services free of charge to patients with cancer, ALS, end-of-life cardiac, respiratory, renal, liver diseases, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and multiple sclerosis, ensuring that patients and their families receive the best possible care they deserve.
