Corey Squarzoni to Lead Campari Workshops in Malta
Opportunity for Industry Professionals to Register for Expert-Led Workshops
Corey Squarzoni, winner of the prestigious Campari Bartender Competition 2020 and current Bar Manager at UGO Milano, will be in Malta on 23rd June 2025 to lead a day of professional workshops and events designed for mixologists and bar attendants. A rising figure in the international bartending scene, Squarzoni is widely recognised for his award-winning cocktails and his pioneering work in sustainable, zero-waste bartending. This initiative is brought to Malta by the Campari Group in collaboration with Farsons Beverage Imports Company Ltd.

The programme will kick off at 1:00 pm with a Negroni Workshop by invitation only, hosted at Radio Rooftop, Level 20, MeHotel Mercury Towers. This focused session for a select group of 15 bartenders will explore the timeless Negroni through Squarzoni’s contemporary lens, highlighting technique, flavour profiling, and sustainable preparation practices.
At 4:00 pm, also at Radio Rooftop, the Campari Portfolio Masterclass will be open to a broader audience of industry professionals. Squarzoni will be joined by Giovanni Liuzzi, from Campari Academy, to delve into the versatility and depth of the Campari Group range, exploring innovative approaches and cocktail applications. The session will conclude with an aperitif.
The day will culminate at 8:00 pm with a Campari Bar Takeover at Cabana Club, MeHotel Mercury Towers. During this special event, Squarzoni will take to the bar for an exclusive guest shift, presenting a curated cocktail menu that captures his distinctive style, centred on Italian flavour and sustainable technique.
Squarzoni is best known for his signature cocktail Eternal Shot, inspired by Paolo Sorrentino’s short film for Campari. Beyond his creative mixology, he is a passionate advocate for eco-conscious bartending. His work promotes practices such as repurposing organic waste into cocktail ingredients, reducing disposable use, and partnering with suppliers on returnable container schemes. His unique perspective combines environmental awareness with top-tier craft, demonstrating how bars can reduce their footprint without compromising on flavour or quality.
These sessions form part of the Campari Academy’s global mission to foster knowledge-sharing, innovation, and responsibility among the bartending community.
Attendance is by invitation only and spaces are limited. For more information and to apply one can email roberto.molaro@farsons.com.
