
Ta’ Betta Wine Estates Earns Further Acclaim with New Falstaff Ratings
Ta’ Betta Wine Estates is announcing a new round of exceptional ratings from Falstaff, a leading voice in the international wine scene, further affirming the estate’s position as a benchmark for quality Maltese winemaking. The latest evaluations showcase the excellence of Ta’ Betta’s superior DOK vintages, with four wines receiving ratings of 93 points and above.

The Antonio Manoel Superior Malta DOK 2019 and the Philippe Villiers Superior Malta DOK 2019 have both been awarded an outstanding 94 points. These wines are recognised for their complexity, structure, and ageing potential, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship and terroir-driven approach that define Ta’ Betta’s red wines.
Meanwhile, the Isabella Guasconi Rosé Superior Malta DOK 2023 and the Jean Parisot Superior Malta DOK 2021 have each received an impressive 93 points. The 2023 Rosé builds on the success of its previous vintage with its vibrant profile and Mediterranean character, while the 2021 Chardonnay continues to deliver depth and elegance, earning international praise for its freshness, minerality and balanced finish.
These results add to Ta’ Betta’s growing legacy of critical acclaim. Past vintages, including the 2020 Jean Parisot and the 2022 Isabelle Guasconi, were also highly rated by Falstaff, with the 2018 editions of Philippe Villiers and Antonio Manoel achieving 95 and 94 points respectively.
Located on four hectares of terraced land in Girgenti, Malta, Ta’ Betta Wine Estates continues to increase its global footprint. Its wines are currently distributed across the UK, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, amongst others.
