SOFTSWISS Young Fest Marks 15 Years with Global Celebration from Malta to the Mediterranean

SOFTSWISS, a global technology company headquartered in Malta, recently brought together its international team and partners for Young Fest — a four-day celebration held on the Mediterranean coast. The event marked the final milestone in a series of 15th anniversary festivities, underscoring the company’s continued growth and cultural cohesion, rooted in its Maltese base.

What started in 2009 as a three-person venture has since grown into a company of over 2,000 employees, with its operational heart in Malta and development hubs across Poland and Georgia. Team members also work remotely from over 30 countries, including Cyprus, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, and South Africa — reflecting SOFTSWISS’s hybrid-first approach. Despite this global spread, Malta remains the company’s strategic and cultural anchor, playing a central role in uniting its diverse workforce.

Fifteen years in business has seen SOFTSWISS evolve into a trusted technology partner for over 1,200 iGaming brands worldwide. But the anniversary also served as a moment of reflection — a reminder that the spirit of discovery, innovation, and bold decision-making is just as vital now as it was in the beginning.

Young Fest embodied that ethos, blending team-building, learning sessions, and live performances with a celebratory atmosphere. SOFTSWISS employees embraced the event’s ‘freshman spirit’ — balancing collaboration and work with networking and celebration. The festival featured headline acts including Little Big, Kasta, and Intelligency, but what made it truly unique were the performances by SOFTSWISS team members and partners — including founder Ivan Montik, who took to the stage as a DJ.

“I’m happy to bring everyone together and connect in person,” said Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS. “These days were filled with meaningful conversations and a true festival spirit. I’m proud that even after 15 years in business, we still maintain a spirit of innovation, boldness, and self-expression. Young Fest is a perfect reflection of that mindset.”

“Bringing together 2,000 people from 30 countries for four days on the Mediterranean coast was no small feat. But with a distributed workforce this was an important opportunity for everyone to connect in person. Nothing builds team spirit better than real, human interaction,” added Liudmila Glasunova, Co-Chief HR Officer at SOFTSWISS.

The celebration builds on SOFTSWISS’s growing reputation for standout internal events. Its previous Values Fest was recognised as Best Corporate Event at the 2024 Global Eventex Awards — further testament to the company’s commitment to culture, cohesion, and community, starting from its headquarters in Malta.
