GSD Marketing celebrates Coca-Cola fans for Euro 2016

Coca-Cola, sponsor of the EUFA Euro 2016, is putting its consumers at the centre of this summer’s footballing tournament. In Malta, consumers have already been participating in a draw to win tickets and cash for the matches which include the quarter-finals. The six lucky Coca-Cola winners will be announced soon and they will enjoy the opportunity to invite a person of their choice to join them for the most hotly anticipated tournament in France.

As phase one of the campaign – where participants could qualify to win the tickets – came to a close, consumers can still continue to collect points to redeem over 6,000 Coca-Cola merchandise items, which include footballs, sports bags, caps and fan scarfs. This opportunity runs until the end of the Euro championships on July 11.

This on-pack promotion is being driven by The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd, local bottlers of the world’s most popular soft drink, through GSD Marketing Ltd, distributors of The Coca-Cola Company drinks.

The promotion is currently running across packs of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero and Diet Coke. Participants collect points by purchasing Coca-Cola® branded PET products containing a code located on the bottle under the label. Individuals then enter the code on http://points.mycoke.com.mt to have their account credited with the points.

During UEFA Euro 2016, Coca-Cola will be also be presented in sync with its ‘Taste The Feeling’ sales pledge. In fact, the catchy lyrics from Coca-Cola’s “Taste the Feeling” track by Avicii featuring breakout artist Conrad Sewell will be the official music anthem of the Coca-Cola UEFA EURO 2016 campaign. The song, crafted by the Swedish superstar producer Avicii with the soulful vocals of London-born, Australian raised singer Sewell, is available on Spotify and iTunes.
