New solutions on Eu funding

As Malta’s 2014-2020 Operational Programmes are unveiled, EuropeanFunds.info is opening its doors to offer professional solutions to public, private and non-profit organisations seeking to access and manage EU-funds.

Backed by years of experience at the Planning and Priorities Coordination Division (PPCD), founders Ray Bartolo and Trevor Fenech have teamed up to provide training, advisory and project management services to organisations and individuals who manage or intend to apply for EU-funding.

“As former public officers, we understand the importance of sound principles in the management of public funds. The EU offers huge potential for a country like Malta, yet many local organisations are either unaware of the multitude of EU funding opportunities available to them or else get discouraged when faced with the required procedures.  EuropeanFunds.info is geared to overcome these difficulties and help organisations develop their potential through these funding options.”

With this in mind, EuropeanFunds.info launched its first courses for 2015 aimed at professionals working for private enterprises or public organisations.  These include the What’s What Series on European Funds, which is a programme of four business breakfasts in April, at the Hilton Malta, covering the topics of project applications, public procurement, project management and financial audit and control.  The course will be addressed by both Mr Bartolo and Mr Fenech, together with Neville Cutajar, Managing Partner of accountancy and consultancy firm 3a Malta.

Acknowledging the ambition of EuropeanFunds.info, Mr Cutajar said, “The local public and non-public sectors have long felt the need for professional assistance to tap the full potential of EU-funding.  EuropeanFunds.info finally fills this gap”.
