Josanne Cassar | Nectar Group promotes healthy living and CSR

A healthy work environment and corporate social responsibility (CSR) can go hand-in-hand. With this in mind, Nectar Group’s management and employees teamed up to give a helping hand at Dar Sagra Familja in Zabbar, over five Saturdays. The major part of the work involved partitioning, electrical and general maintenance work. Sorting out the books library and creating a better environment for the children to enjoy was another task performed by volunteers from Nectar Group.

This year, Nectar Social Committee (NSC) organised a number of social events for employees and their families, including a Healthy Living Afternoon in collaboration with Cynergi Health and Fitness Club. During this recent activity employees were assessed for body mass index, blood pressure, and given suggestions for a healthier lifestyle. A very originally organised and well attended treasure hunt held in the past weekend was the last activity organised by NSC prior to the Christmas activities.
